Becalmed is the word I am thinking of. That is how things feel right now. When we went sailing we left the dock with wind and ventured out from shore really enjoying the wind and then it died. Dead calm. Nothing moving anywhere in sight. “don’t worry," said the well-seasoned skipper, “the wind always returns.” “But I have dinner plans tonight." I replied.
